Comfortex Window Fashions is a pioneer in manufacturing and fabricating custom window treatments. Comfortex has been dedicated to providing excellent customer service, high quality, innovative products and strong partnerships as it has evolved into a worldwide industry leader. The Comfortex BlindCrafter Program provides full support for more than 130 independent window fashion retailers to benefit from the Comfortex brand and product and create custom fashions.

To reinforce the unique benefits of being a BlindCrafter, build their brand and increase consumer awareness and sales, Comfortex created the "Ultimate Window Shade Makeover" nationwide contest offering one lucky winner an entire house full of custom window fashions - a $25,000 value - free.

Reinforcing an existing media campaign, Rueckert worked closely with Comfortex to create a wide spectrum of marketing tools for the promotion including a logo, ballot boxes, entry forms, wall and freestanding posters, vinyl adhesive window clings, hanging banners, a take one brochure, direct mail template and two versions of a newspaper insert which local BlindCrafters could customize with their own logos and addresses. We also packaged all these materials into a comprehensive marketing kit and shipped them to BlindCrafter dealers across the country.

To drive customers into BlindCrafter locations where the national contest would be extensively promoted in-store, we also prepared promotional materials advertising a free Duofold upgrade with every purchase of a Comfortex Symphony cellular shade. Rueckert designed a logo, direct mail postcard, freestanding newspaper insert, easelback signage and shade wobblers for this phase of the promotion.
