Rueckert Advertising president serves as panelist at A-C Chamber marketing event

Dean A. Rueckert of Loudonville, president of Rueckert Advertising & Public Relations LLC, recently served as a panelist at a marketing roundtable sponsored by the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce's Colonie Business Council.

During the luncheon, Rueckert talked about the differences in print, electronic, and online advertising. He also discussed the pros and cons of a do-it-yourself strategy and the benefits to working with a full-service advertising and public relations agency.

Rueckert, who has nearly 40 years of experience in marketing and serves as account supervisor for a number of corporate and health care accounts at his full-service marketing communications firm, was joined on the panel by Mary Rozak, assistant news director at Capital News 9. Colonie Business Council Chair Felton McLaughlin moderated the discussion.

The Colonie Business Council was created to enhance the business climate and quality of life for the benefit of its members and the greater community by providing business networking, educational programs and roundtables within Colonie. It also seeks to improve the business environment and build on the success of the Chamber's 12205 Business Council, which has undertaken several projects in the Wolf Road area of Colonie.
