Rueckert Advertising adds Horizon Wind to roster
of energy clients
Rueckert Advertising & Public Relations LLC, one of the Capital Region's leading full-service marketing communications firms, has been retained by Horizon Wind Energy, the nation's third largest wind power company and the largest owner and operator of wind farms in New York.
The agency recently provided event planning and media relations coordination surrounding the grand opening of Horizon's new Northeast Regional Headquarters. The 3,100-square-foot office, based in downtown Albany, services wind farm projects throughout New York, Pennsylvania and New England.
In the coming months, the agency will provide Horizon with marketing support, including print advertising, media planning and placement, point-of-purchase, trade show materials, market research and focus group coordination. Rueckert Advertising will also offer public relations assistance as Horizon Wind Energy continues developing 1000 MW of projects in Western New York and the North Country.

Since 1998, Rueckert Advertising has worked with an impressive roster of clients in the energy sector. The agency currently provides the NYS Public Service Commission with statewide advertising, public relations, outreach and education services to increase New Yorkers' understanding of energy-related issues such as energy efficiency, competition and Green Power. Other energy clients have included Direct Energy, Independent Power Producers of NY, Green Power Marketing Conference, Tour de Sol and KeySpan Energy.
