Rueckert Advertising brochure wins national award for outstanding communications

An overview brochure designed by Rueckert Advertising & Public Relations LLC on behalf of the Community Foundation for the Capital Region (CFCR) has been honored with a bronze award in the prestigious 2007 Wilmer Shields Rich Awards Program for "Excellence in Communications" sponsored by the national Council on Foundations.

The agency’s winning tri-fold, entitled Gather, Grow, Grant, illustrated the important role CFCR plays in the community by gathering funds from philanthropically minded Capital Region residents, growing the funds judiciously, and granting them out responsibly to the not-for-profit community. The piece was entered in the special reports category for community and public foundations with assets of $21-100 million.

Entries to the awards program, which recognize effective communications efforts to increase public awareness of foundations and corporate giving programs, included annual or biennial reports, magazines/periodicals, special reports, public information campaigns and Web sites.

This year 174 entries were submitted to the awards program.
