Rueckert Advertising to provide marketing services for Lake George Elvis Festival

Rueckert Advertising and Public Relations, one of the region’s leading full-service marketing communication firms, will provide marketing support for the 4th Annual Lake George Elvis Festival slated to be held June 1-3 at the Lake George Forum.

The agency, which began working with festival organizers in 2006, will secure feature stories about the 65 Elvis Tribute Artists (ETAs), who will travel from Ireland, England, Canada and all corners of the United States for the three-day festival. Rueckert Advertising will also draft press releases and coordinate interviews on regional TV and radio stations. In addition, the agency will develop a media plan, create print ads and write and produce radio spots.

During the festival, which attracts 6,000 visitors, ETAs will compete in three divisions: professionals (1950s-1960s and 1970s categories), non-professionals (1950s-1960s and 1970s categories), and youth for $8,000 in cash prizes. Other events include a Saturday night recreation of Elvis’ 1972 performance at Madison Square Garden, a fireworks display, steamboat cruise, classic car parade, memorabilia vendors, and Elvis gospel service.
