Rueckert Advertising tapped with 2007 Telly Award:
"Real Men. Real Respect for Women" Commercial Produced with the NYS Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence
A :30 and :15 TV spot produced by Rueckert Advertising & Public Relations LLC and directed and edited by Albany-based Sharon Wolin Productions has earned a bronze statuette in the 27th annual Telly Awards, a national competition showcasing outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions.
The full-service marketing agency was singled out from among 12,000 entries for its commercial, entitled "Real Men. Real Respect for Women," which was produced last summer with the New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence. The spots were aimed at educating young men to respect their girlfriends and encourage their peers to let them know abuse is unacceptable.
"We’re delighted to have been selected for a prestigious Telly," said Rueckert Advertising President Dean A. Rueckert, noting that in 2001 the agency earned a silver Telly for a commercial produced for Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan, Inc. "The award is one of the most sought-after honors in the TV, commercial and video industry, and is tangible proof that creativity is still a treasured component of effective business communications."
Founded in 1978, the Telly Awards showcases the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments. This year’s competition drew 12,000 entries from all 50 states and many foreign countries.
