Rueckert Advertising named finalist for small business council community service award
Rueckert Advertising and Public Relations, one of the region's leading full-service marketing communication firms, was recently named a finalist for the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce's 2006 Small Business Council Awards in the category of community service.
During the SBC's Annual Awards Dinner held Thursday, Sept. 28 at the Holiday Inn Turf, the agency was singled out for its lengthy history of making meaningful contributions to the community. Rueckert Advertising often forgoes billable hours to provide year-round marketing support to a number of worthy causes and provides more than $50,000 of pro bono support to nonprofit and faith-based organizations each year.
"We're honored to have been tapped as a finalist for this award," said Rueckert Advertising President Dean A. Rueckert. "This agency is successful as a direct result of this community. My philosophy remains to help out those groups who contribute to improving our quality of life and provide opportunities for the underserved."
Designed to recognize the achievements of the small-business community, the Small Business Council Awards named 19 local entrepreneurs and businesses as finalists in seven categories, including Lifetime Achievement, Small Business of the Year, Tech Triumph, Entrepreneurial Excellence, Innovative Enterprise, Micro-enterprise and Community Service.
