Rueckert Advertising adds Lake George Forum to client roster

Rueckert Advertising and Public Relations, one of the Capital Region's leading full-service marketing communications firms, has added The Lake George Forum to its diverse client roster.

In the coming months, Rueckert will provide the state-of-the-art, multipurpose trade show center and ice arena with marketing and public relations services. The agency will also help the 30,000-square-foot facility, which was completed in November 2003, promote its extensive facilities and diverse events, including the Lake George Antique Show and the Lake George Elvis Festival.

Located on Canada Street diagonally across from the Holiday Inn, The Lake George Forum is just one of a handful of Olympic-sized ice rinks in upstate New York. From October-March, the rink is home to Queensbury High School's varsity hockey program, as well as various youth and high school hockey tournaments, including the NYS Girls 19 and Under Hockey Championship.  The Adirondack Skating Academy also teaches beginner lessons, figure skating, and special skating clinics at the site, and the venue plans to launch a recreational broomball league this fall.

During the remainder of the year, the expansive air-conditioned display space is used to host business trade shows, as well as events such as the North Country Home Remodeling and Backyard Expo, Lake George Boat Sale, Extreme Sports Show, and the Lake George Boat Show. During July and August, the ice surface returns for hockey camps and leagues.
